Engström & Hellman started its journey in 2008 with the ambition to be a progressive player in a conservative industry. We wanted to get to know our clients better and go into greater depth in order to always be able to provide wise and clear counsel. Moreover, we wanted to contribute to a well-functioning society motivated by a genuine interest in the fields of law we are active within.
We, as most law firms, consider our employees to be our greatest asset. What distinguishes us from our competitors is that we want to ensure favorable terms and behaviors. Therefore, as the first law firm in Sweden, we have entered into collective agreements and undergone LGBTQI Certification. The well-being of our employees is of the utmost importance to us, and we view it as a vital prerequisite to perform well.
Our vision is continually gaining traction. At present, Engström & Hellman is Sweden’s 50th largest law firm in terms of the number of employees. We enjoy disseminating insights and opinions and our staff writes everything from debate contributions to reference books which we are pleased to note that clients as well as competitors take a liking to.
Although we may inevitably remain inside the box in terms of legal matters, we intend to continue to proceed outside the box in terms of our way of developing the firm. This is our sweet spot so to speak. In our opinion, a value-based culture brings added value for you as a client.
