Since 1999, I have primarily specialised in property law, covering all its facets. My work includes everything from large-scale compensation claims and litigation to smaller debt disputes.
My key areas of expertise are commercial tenancy law and tenant-ownership law. I am frequently engaged to draft commercial lease agreements and other contract types. I regularly assist clients in tenancy tribunals and general courts, particularly with matters such as market rents for commercial premises, eviction cases, and various licensing issues related to renovations and block leasing agreements. I also provide legal services for non-profit organisations.
One of my greatest passions is supporting the boards of tenant-owner associations in their daily property management. Many associations approach me for assistance in drafting new bylaws, establishing house rules, and preparing guidelines and documentation for decision-making, all in line with the association's bylaws, practices, and applicable legislation. The rapid pace of legal developments, particularly in tenancy law, often generates questions where having a skilled lawyer by your side is invaluable.
I am regularly invited as a speaker on commercial tenancy and tenant-ownership law and also design client-specific training courses in various areas of property law.
Before joining Engström & Hellman, I spent nearly 20 years at Fastighetsägarna Stockholm. Since 2019, I have been practising at the law firm, and in January 2022, I became a member of the Swedish Bar Association.
